Bryce Dallas Howard made her return to the Star Wars franchise via The Book of Boba Fett's fifth episode to much fanfare and despite yet another brief involvement in the MandoVerse, the actress-filmmaker made sure to make the most out of the episode she was tasked to direct. Of course, fans know that this isn't Bryce's first rodeo, having directed two episodes of The Mandalorian for seasons 1 and 2.

Now, fresh off the success of The Book of Boba Fett Chapter 5, it looks like Bryce is gearing up for another return to the galaxy far, far away. The star of Spider-Man 3 and Jurassic World is expected to direct another episode for Season 3 of the MandoVerse's flagship show and that's according to the folks over at Discussing Film. This shouldn't come as a surprise considering she already has experience directing a Mandalorian episode under her belt. But more importantly, this only goes to show the amount of trust Lucasfilm has for her which is truly exciting.

Considering all of Bryce's MandoVerse entries have been pretty solid, would it be too much to ask Lucasfilm and Disney to give her a proper Star Wars trilogy? Or maybe even her own spinoff series. I'm not saying I know better but with Sabine Wren set to appear in Ahsoka, it would already be safe to assume that the beloved Star Wars Rebels character will get her own series down the line and I think Bryce would be the perfect director for that kind of project. Meanwhile, The Mandalorian Season 3 is currently filming and as it stands, we still don't know the production's current progress.

The Book of Boba Fett's Episode 5 is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
