If you tuned in to the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2, there's a good chance you're still celebrating Kate Sackhoff's debut as the live-action version of her Star Wars: The Clone Wars character. But is it possible we'll actually get to see so much more of Bo-Katan Kryze in the future? Sackhoff has just admitted that she is willing to reprise the role in a possible spin-off series.
Sackhoff recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her appearance in Chapter 11: The Heiress and at one point, it was suggested that the character's live-action debut already had people hoping for a spin-off project. Not surprisingly, Sackhoff was quick to admit that she would immediately sign on for that.
"I mean, who wouldn't?" she confessed. Sackhoff then continued by stating that this could be something that Disney and Lucasfilm are interested to explore in the future.
"That's what's so great about the Star Wars universe. There's so many different places to go and so many stories and so many interesting characters to go after," she said.
So is it happening? Sackhoff quickly added that it hasn't been brought up just yet, at least not to her.
"I have no idea but I would love to play this character as long as she has a story," Sackhoff said.
There's still so much that we can learn about Bo-Katan and it would be an awesome idea to see more of her in a spin-off. However, Disney and Lucasfilm have not yet confirmed the plan. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.
