The Mandalorian Season 2: Here's Why [SPOILERS] Refused to Work with Baby Yoda

One of the best things about the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 is all the cool details we learned about Baby Yoda. Unfortunately, all that information still wasn't enough for The Child's new friend to want to stick around and work with him. So why exactly did Baby Yoda miss out on more interactions with the Star Wars show's newest addition?

WATCH OUT! The following contains SPOILERS from The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5 so proceed with caution.

In Chapter 13: The Jedi, we finally got what we have been waiting for: Ahsoka Tano's live-action debut, and she was played by none other than Rosario Dawson. It also didn't take long for Ahsoka to bond with Baby Yoda and she was even the one who revealed The Child's real name: Grogu.

The Force connection between Ahsoka and Grogu allowed the former to see into Baby Yoda's past and she revealed that he was actually a youngling trained in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. However, she was unwilling to continue his training, claiming that she sensed his fear and anger.

Is it possible that this isn't the only reason why Ahsoka didn't want to train Grogu? After all, she seemed to have agreed to do so if Mando helps her get to the Magistrate in the city of Calodan. However, some believe that the real reason why Ahsoka didn't want to be tied down is that she is still on an important mission.

In the Star Wars Rebels series finale, Ahsoka was last seen teaming up with Sabine Wren setting off to find Ezra Bridger after he disappeared with Grand Admiral Thrawn. Since Ahsoka is still looking for Thrawn in The Mandalorian Season 2, this means that the search is not yet over.

What do you think is the real reason why Ahsoka didn't want to train Baby Yoda? Sound off in the comments below.
