The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 3 Had a Hidden Battlefront 2 Cameo

Just when you thought you have already found all of the Easter Eggs in The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 3, a new one has been confirmed. It looks like the latest episode actually featured a surprise cameo from a Star Wars Battlefront II actor.

Janina Gavankar is best known for providing the voice of Inferno Squad leader Iden Versio in Battlefront II. However, it was discovered that the former True Blood star also had a small yet important role in The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 3.

Interestingly, Gavankar was quick to confirm that she was in Chapter 11: The Heiress and had an awesome takeaway from the set of the Star Wars series. Check it out below.

That's right, Gavankar was one of the puppeteers that worked on the Mon Calamari that appeared in Episode 3.

"There is a Mon Calamari who puts their hands on their hips. That's Frank Ippolito who's inside that rig. He made that headpiece and it takes two puppeteers to animate it," Gavankar told IGN. "And they needed a second puppeteer to just handle the nostrils of this character. And [Ippolito] called me and he said, 'Do you want to come puppeteer the nostrils of this Mon Calamari?' And I said 'f*ck yes.'"

We're loving the idea that Gavankar had a cool job on The Mandalorian Season 2. Perhaps there will be even more awesome surprises in the series soon.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 3 is currently streaming on Disney+.
