The Mandalorian Season 2 BTS Video Shows George Lucas Hanging Out with Ahsoka Tano

There is little doubt that The Mandalorian Season 2 was made a lot better by the live-action debut of Ahsoka Tano in Chapter 13: The Jedi. Not surprisingly, Ahsoka's role in the Disney+ series is approved by Star Wars creator George Lucas and we now have proof that the two actually had fun while working on the show.

The Mandalorian Season 2 might be over but Disney+ had a treat for fans on Christmas Day. It was confirmed that Disney Gallery would unveil the Star Wars: The Mandalorian - Making of Season Two special that featured an awesome behind-the-scenes look at how the series was made. For instance, there's a special look at how Rosario Dawson became Ahsoka. Amazingly, it was confirmed that Lucas was on the set to meet Dawson and there's an amazing shot of the two laughing together. Check it out below.

We're loving the idea that Lucas seems to enjoy Dawson's company and it certainly confirms that the Star Wars creator loved the fact that Ahsoka is now one of the new characters who have grown so well in the franchise. Needless to say, we can't wait to see more of Dawson's character in the future.

Although it is still unclear if Ahsoka will return in The MandalorianSeason 3, we already know that we will see her in action in her own standalone series. Star Wars: Ahsoka was announced during Disney Investor Day and it will bring back Dawson as the former Jedi.

Star Wars: Ahsoka has not yet been given an official release date. In the meantime, you can watch all episodes of The Mandalorian Season 2 on Disney+ now.
