Star Wars: The Mandalorian's Baby Yoda is getting more popular by the day. The Child was introduced in the first episode of the show and since then, fans couldn't get enough of the adorable creature and they have been eager to get their hands on some Baby Yoda merch.

Aside from the Baby Yoda toys and merch that debuted at the Disney event ahead of Toy Fair 2020, fans also get a new look at Hasbro's prototype figure of The Child from the Black line. The figure was photographed for the cover of The Pop Insider's new issue where the Child is seen playing with Din Djarin. You can check it out here.

The photo, taken by Mitchel Wu, was made to capture the "innocence and adorableness" of the pair's relationship in a way that "resonates" with the outlet's readers.

"There was no bigger toy craze at the end of 2019 than Baby Yoda," The Pop Insider Editor in Chief Marissa DiBartolo said. "Fans were rabid for toys featuring The Child, and once we saw Hasbro's incredible line of products, we knew we wanted to feature one of them on our cover."

Wu says while the Child is, well, a child (but with powers) he is still just a toddler. He wanted to "capture a playful moment" with the two that is reminiscent of a father playing with his child. Hence, the final photo that graces the cover of The Pop Insider.

It's a really intimate and adorable take on the two and I think it really captures their relationship very well. Although Mando acts tough and is actually tough, he has such a soft spot for the Child and there's no doubt that he'd play with the adorable creature like this as well, much like a father would with his child.

There'll certainly be more adventures with Mando and Baby Yoda in the second season of The Mandalorian, which debuts in October of this year.
