The dynamic duo of The Mandalorian's Din Djarin and Grogu has been gratifying Star Wars fans since 2019. To say they've become the franchise's headlining characters isn't much of an overstatement but it appears that there's ongoing "tension" between Mando and his Force-wielding co-star as hilariously revealed by Pedro Pascal himself.

Appearing on First We Feast's hit YouTube series Hot Ones, Pascal jokingly opened up about his growing beef with Baby Yoda. The actor recalled filming the heart-wrenching Season 2 finale scene with Grogu and shared his reaction after earning praise for the emotions he let out acting with an animatronic.

He shared: "He's a very cooperative and fulfilling scene partner. You know, it's pretty crazy like having to say goodbye to him in season two and getting praise for 'oh my gosh. You have such subtle emotion and you're dealing with a puppet' and I'm like this puppet is making me cry."

The actor added that the beloved animatronic always finds a way to steal a scene and it looks like he's done being upstaged by the fan-favorite creature. Pascal continued: "And I'm like 'Damn, chill, you're stealing it. It's like the one time I have my helmet off. Like let me have the scene bro.'"

It's already safe to say that we'll get to see more of Din and Grogu's dynamic in the coming years as The Mandalorian has already been confirmed to be getting a Season 4 renewal. A huge win for Star Wars fans, of course, because frankly, I don't think we'll ever get tired of seeing them together on screen.

The Mandalorian Season 3's next episode hits Disney+ this Wednesday.
