The Mandalorian: Pedro Pascal Discusses The Bond Between Din Djarin and Grogu in Season 3

There is little doubt that Din Djarin and Grogu are the heart of The Mandalorian and this is set to be proven again in Season 3. But has anything changed since we last saw the pair in The Book of Boba Fett? Pedro Pascal discussed the connection between the bounty hunter and the little Jedi in the third season and he claims it is "beautiful."

Pedro Pascal recently spoke to GamesRadar to promote The Mandalorian Season 3 and the Last of Us star was more than happy to talk about the relationship between Din Djarin and Grogu. He pointed out that the dynamic between the bounty hunter and the Child is more complicated than expected.

"There's an instant relatability and disarming charm to the relationship as soon as they're matched up together," Pascal said. "And yet, at the same time, there's so much more to explore in terms of protector and protected, and who learns from who depending on what the circumstance is, who depends on who depending on what the circumstance is, and how that dynamic can shift between the two is really beautiful."

He certainly has a point there considering that the relationship between Din Djarin and Grogu has been evolving quickly right from the start. Although Djarin was initially supposed to protect the Child, he has also been saved by Grogu numerous times. Now that Grogu has trained briefly under Luke Skywalker, there's a good chance that the Youngling will have a hand at saving Djarin in the third season. With that in mind, we can't wait to see their new adventures this week.

The Mandalorian Season 3 will follow Din Djarin and Grogu as they head for Mandalore to "atone" for his sins. The series will return on Disney+ on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
