We're just a few hours away from witnessing the epic conclusion of The Mandalorian's second season and as it stands, we still don't know what to expect from Chapter 16. If we're judging by the stuff we saw in the previous episodes, it's clear that Season 2 will end with a grand showdown between Din Djarin and Moff Gideon who currently has possession of The Child aka Grogu.

Reddit user AdamDriverIsAwesome has unearthed an alleged list of legendary composer John Williams' musical score for the hit Star Wars spinoff series and the upcoming Chapter 16's track may be hinting that someone will die in the finale. The said score is allegedly titled "Rest in Peace" and of course, it doesn't take a genius to connect the dots on this one. Of course, it's too early to assume considering we've yet to see the finale but with how intense the previous episodes of the show have been, I wouldn't be surprised if a beloved character actually dies in Season 2's closer.

The question on everyone's minds heading into Chapter 16 is, will Mando succeed in retrieving back Baby Yoda from the clutches of the Galatic Empire? Or will Moff Gideon finally succeed in his devious plan which presumably has something to do with the cloning of The Child? If I had things my way, I'd love for Season 2 to end on a happier note kinda like how Season 1 closed. If Chapter 16 ends on a cliffhanger, it will be a long wait before the new season arrives and that would be dreadful, to say the least.

The Mandalorian's Chapter 16 premieres this Friday on Disney+.
