We're still months away from the premiere of The Mandalorian Season 3 but it already promises to be the biggest entry in the show so far. Picking up where the second season left off, the upcoming season will see the titanic clash between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze who are fighting for the right to sit atop the Mandalore throne.

If you may recall, one of Season 2's major plot points includes Bo-Katan's quest to gain back possession of the Darksaber which was wielded by Moff Gideon. She asks Mando for help to retrieve the mythical weapon and while he did succeed in doing so, Bo-Katan is unaware that in order to get the saber back, she must defeat Mando in a duel, and according to actress Katee Sackhoff, her character's frustrations will be one of the show's focal points.

Speaking with Total Film (via GamesRadar), the actress explains where Bo-Katan's psyche is in Season 3. She reveals: "Anytime you have a goal and you don’t succeed, I think you reevaluate."

Sackhoff also teased scenes with Grogu and explained that filming with the beloved animatronic is no easy task. She added: "It’s funny because you always have to think about how you’re interacting with Grogu. It’s so specific, you have to make sure that you’re not doing anything that says something different. Every single thing, every single interaction with Grogu is very, very thought out."

It's safe to say that Bo-Katan will stop at nothing to fulfill her prophecy, even if it means turning her back on Din who pretty much became a valuable ally over the course of the series. They're duel will be mind-blowing.

The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to hit Disney+ in February 2023.
