We're just two episodes away from witnessing the conclusion of The Mandalorian's second season and with Moff Gideon finally getting his hands on Grogu aka The Child, it looks pretty evident that Din Djarin would have to get himself some serious backup if he wants to rescue Baby Yoda. In Chapter 14, it was already teased that Mando would be forming an unlikely alliance with Boba Fett and Fennec Shand and towards the end of the episode, he also recruited Cara Dune for his new mission.
Over the last few episodes, we've seen appearances from new and returning StarWars characters who briefly teamed up with Mando. Now, facing the Galactic Empire alone would be a tough task, to say the least, but what if Mando's former one-time allies returned for Chapter 16 to even the numbers against Moff Gideon's evil army?
An awesome artwork created by artist ApexForm is making the rounds all over social media and it imagines the potential of Chapter 16 becoming a team-up episode that could see Mando join forces with the likes of Ahsoka Tano, Bo-Katan, Boba Fett, and his trusty allies Cara Dune and Greef Karga. Intentionally, the image was created to mimic Avengers: Endgame's final battle scene and it's pretty darn epic. Check it out here:
We're not quite sure what goes down exactly in the last two episodes of TheMandalorian Season 2 but it better not end on another cliffhanger as we still have no idea when Season 3 will drop. Considering how exhausting and frustrating Chapter 14 was, I think we all deserve a semi-happy ending just like how Season 1 ended, am I right?
The second season of The Mandalorian is already streaming on Disney+.
