The Mandalorian First Teaser Set To Debut In April

We already know that The Mandalorian will be the first Star Wars series to air on the Disney streaming service. But when exactly can we see the first footage from the highly anticipated Disney+ show? It looks like we might get a teaser by April.

The news comes via Hollywood insider Todd Spangler, who tweeted about Disney's plans for its investor day in April. The House of Mouse is reportedly set to introduce Disney+ by unveiling new footage from the streaming service's new shows. Take a look at the post below.

"Disney says it will demo Disney+ at its investor day on April 11, including first look at some of the original content for the SVOD service," Spangler wrote. Not surprisingly, fans are already expecting the presentation to include a brief teaser or even just footage from The Mandalorian.

Jon Favreau's Star Wars series isn't the only original content we can expect from Disney+ but it is the only one that has already started production. Favreau has even shared some awesome behind-the-scenes photos on his official Instagram account. With that in mind, it is possible that a teaser or full trailer for The Mandalorian will be revealed in April just in time for the Star Wars Celebration.

Disney has also confirmed that a Cassian Andor series will be developed for the streaming service. However, the Diego Luna show is expected to begin production later in October before its own debut in 2020.

The Mandalorian is currently in production and is expected to premiere on Disney+ by late 2019.
