The closing moments of Chapter 24, titled "The Return" saw Din Djarin and Grogu head back to Nevarro after the Child is accepted into the Mandorian Creed, becoming Din's apprentice.

When The Armorer agreed to change Grogu's status from foundling to apprentice, the two were asked to leave Mandalore in order for the Force-wielding creature to embark on several adventures that will make him worthy of walking the Mandalorian way as "Din Grogu".

They later meet with Carson Teva who is greeted with a proposition he cannot refuse. Now that Din is serving as Grogu's mentor, he wants to be selective of the missions he take on and turns out, he wants to serve the New Republic.

When the duo returned to the planet, they met with High Magistrate Greef Karga who presented them with their own humble abode. Turns out, Mando had a gift of his own and it's a newly-repaired IG-11 droid who now operates as Nevarro's Marshal, officially taking Cara's place.
