Bo-Katan Kryze and The Armorer were only able to share a couple of scenes together in The Mandalorian Season 3, but their undeniable chemistry was enough to spark a movement from Star Wars diehards for them to be given a romance plot down the line.

Of course, "shipping" two characters even if there's no romantic tension between them is no longer uncommon and that's just how the fandom works. However, if you were to ask Emily Swallow if she's down with the idea of The Armorer and Bo-Katan getting it on in the future, her answer will most likely disappoint you.

Appearing at the 2023 Calgary Expo, the MandoVerse mainstay offered a blunt response to the fandom's collective desire to see The Armorer and Bo-Katan develop a romantic relationship, and to put it simply, she wants no part of it.

The actress believes that the fans feeling the need to see characters become love interests could potentially "ruin a show". She said: "We always put two people who work really well together and we're like 'Oh, they need to be together' and then I feel like it ruins a show... Maybe their friendship will grow, but let's leave it at that."

To be fair, Swallow stressed that she has no interest in seeing The Armorer become romantically involved in the series, regardless of which character it is.

I totally get where Swallow is coming from and just because two characters share intense chemistry together, it doesn't necessarily mean that they should get paired romantically. More often than not, it distracts from the story and I'd honestly much rather see Bo-Katan and The Armorer become a formidable duo.

All three seasons of The Mandalorian are available to stream on Disney+.
