The Mandalorian Confirms Season 1 Doctor Pershing Theory

It has been over a year since the first season of The Mandalorian so it's understandable that some people have already forgotten about what had happened in Season 1. Luckily, the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 has shed some light on what happened in the previous season and somehow confirmed an old theory about Doctor Pershing.

WARNING: The following contains SPOILERS from The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 4. Proceed with caution.

In Chapter 12: The Siege, we finally got the highly anticipated reunion between Mando, Baby Yoda, Greef Karga, and Cara Dune. The latter two agree to help repair the Razor Crest but in exchange, they ask Mando to join them on a mission to destroy an Imperial base. Interestingly, the base reveals what Pershing has been working on this whole time.

As they escape, the team discover several cloned bodies being stored in vats. In addition to that, the Mythrol finds a recording of Pershing admitting he used Baby Yoda's blood and its high "M-count" to harvest the clones.

This shouldn't be a huge surprise for Star Wars fans who have speculated about Pershing's true role in The Mandalorian. After all, everyone had noticed that Pershing's uniform confirmed he was from Kamino where the Clone Troopers were revealed to be created in Attack of the Clones. With that in mind, it looks like the Empire is still determined to create more clone soldiers.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 4 is currently streaming on Disney+.
