The fourth episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 is finally here and once again, fans got to see several amazing Easter Eggs in the Star Wars franchise. Interestingly, the best one is undoubtedly the unexpected connection to Princess Leia Organa.
WARNING: The following contains spoilers from The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 4. Proceed with caution.
In Chapter 12: The Siege, Mando and Baby Yoda finally reunited with Greef Karga and Cara Dune. It is revealed that the two have been acting as marshals in Nevarro and although they agree to help repair the Razor Crest, they also ask Mando to join them in destroying an Imperial research base on the other side of the planet.
The three are not the only ones on the mission, as they are joined by the Mythrol that Mando captured in the premiere episode of the series. Luckily, they are able to destroy the base and Mando gets the repairs he needs for his ship and sets off to Corvus to find Ahsoka Tano.
The episode doesn't end here as the New Republic meets with Karga and Cara, who admits that she was from Alderaan and had lost everything when the planet was destroyed.
That's right, Cara is from Alderaan just like Princess Leia. The destruction of the planet was brought about by Grand Moff Tarkin who tested the Death Star's laser on Alderaan in A New Hope.
