The Mandalorian Concept Art Features Oscar Isaac Cameo

While the timeline of The Mandalorian is a lot closer to the Original Trilogy, there are still some references to the Sequel Trilogy. What's interesting is, some concept art from the latest episode has a cameo from Oscar Isaac a.k.a. Poe Dameron.

@sw_holocron has pointed out that one of the pirates in the concept of art is actually Oscar Isaac. Check it out:

This could have clearly been just an easter egg from the art department, but I can't help but feel that it could have been a planned cameo for the future Resistance fighter. If we're following strict canon, Poe would be seven-years-old during the time of The Mandalorian, but with Bo-Katan looking a lot younger than she should be, I would expect Lucasfilm to not really adhere strictly to the timeline. Besides, they can say that this is Poe's father, Kes Dameron, who was a Rebel soldier.

If anything, the ‘pirates' in the last episode are actually questionable in nature. Pirates are usually out to steal, but with the bandits just trying to destroy the cargo, you could say that they were like resistance fighters trying to get rid of the Empire. I guess they just changed the dialogue to keep the conversation from getting too morally gray for Mando. After all, this is still a kids' series at heart.

The Mandalorian is now gearing up for its last episode, and a lot of people are hoping for an all-out clash with Moff Gideon. Of course, there's still a lot of room for more stories, but we'll just have to wait and see where this all goes.
