The Mandalorian has featured several guest stars since its inception but Season 3's sixth episode undoubtedly takes the cake for putting the spotlight on the show's most bizarre cameos to date. Titled "Guns for Hire", Chapter 22 finally introduces us to Christopher Lloyd's mysterious character Commissioner Helgait who turns out to be this week's big bad.

However, what drew the most attention online is the appearances of pop star Lizzo and comedy icon Jack Black, who played pivotal roles in the said episode. Portraying the roles of the Duchess and Captain Bombardier respectively, the unlikely pairing of Lizzo and Black left fans quite bewildered.

Serving as the rulers of the planet Plazir-15, the over-the-top duo served were major players in the episode, helping Din Djarin, Grogu, and Bo-Katan Kryze locate the latter's ex-comrades in exchange for them helping the planet solve its "droid problem" apparently caused by Helgait.

While Lloyd's Chapter 22 involvement no longer comes as a surprise given his sci-fi roots, it's hard to deny that Lizzo and Black being depicted as a romantic item is the most random union the galaxy has ever seen.

After seeing the episode, fans quickly stormed social media to share their reactions, and simply put, many thought Chapter 22 was a huge fever dream but in a good way. Check out some of the tweets below:

I gotta say, while it did feel weird to see Lizzo and Black in the episode at first, their unexpected tandem quickly won me over. It was definitely a good break to have because we all know that the final two episodes will be quite hostile. Get ready for it.
