The latest episode of The Mandalorian may have been the shortest one yet but it doesn't skimp out on the action and jaw-dropping revelations. Titled "The Foundling", Chapter 20 seals Grogu's fate as the next Mandalorian warrior to be on the lookout for after he chose to abandon Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy in The Book of Boba Fett.

Episode 4 featured an extended flashback of Grogu's horrific Order 66 experience, something that was already teased in Season 3's trailer. After years of speculation, we finally learn about the identity of the person responsible for Baby Yoda's salvation and it turns out to be a Jedi named Kelleran Beq.

If the actor who played the character looks familiar to you, it's because he's none other than Ahmed Best, the voice of Jar Jar Binks in the prequel trilogy. This isn't the first time Beq played his new Star Wars character though. In fact, the 49-year-old star first debuted as Kelleran in Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge, a children's game show which premiered on the Star Wars Kids Youtube channel in 2020.

Ahmed's latest Star Wars appearance serves as a massive redemption for the actor after years of being vilified for his portrayal of Jar Jar Binks. Here's to hoping we haven't seen the last of Kelleran because it's quite refreshing to see a new Jedi that has entered the fray.

The latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 is now streaming on Disney+.
