I think it's pretty safe to say that The Mandalorian has successfully delivered all the fan service in the world no Star Wars project from the last five years has ever done. But aside from the hit Disney+ series drowning longtime fans with a sheer dose of nostalgia, it also succeeded in introducing new characters to the fold. In Season 2 alone, we were introduced to a new set of characters, including Koska Reeves played by WWE superstar Sasha Banks aka Mercedes Varnado who played one of Bo-Katan Kryze's trusty Mandalorian allies.

The fan reception for Banks' debut in a galaxy far, far away was met with a warm response from the fandom, and considering Season 3 is set to center on the battle for the Mandalore throne between Bo-Katan and Din Djarin, a lot of people are expecting Koska to also make her return.

However, due to Sasha's current WWE commitment coinciding with the filming of The Mandalorian Season 3, there's a slim chance that we'll see Koska Reeves back in action and the wrestler-actress pretty much confirmed that. In an interview with Bleacher Report's Graham Matthews (via ComicBook), Banks revealed that she won't be part of the upcoming third season.

However, Banks expressed her gratitude for being part of the Star Wars family even for just a short period of time. She said: "First of all, thanks for trying to get that out, but I'm not on the next season. But it was incredible being on The Mandalorian on Star Wars. To be on a franchise that is so huge and so loved, just look at the reception from fans outside of the WWE Universe. It was the best feeling of all time. The projection of that show was overwhelming. I legit felt like I was in a galaxy so far, far away. I felt like I was on a different planet."

Sure, Koska is just a minor character when you think about it and her absence from the show isn't going to make that huge of an impact storywise but you gotta agree that she was a pretty fun and interesting character. Hopefully, she'll get to return to the franchise in the future.

The Mandalorian Season 3 is currently filming.
