During Disney's recent presentation at CinemaCon, the first 17 minutes of The Mandalorian and Grogu were exclusively unveiled to the audience. It gave the attendees an early look at the movie's opening sequences.

Director Jon Favreau was present on stage to reveal the footage. However, fans should not expect it to be released publicly since it was only exclusive to the audience.

Fortunately, journalists and influencers who were present at the event were able to share a description of the footage they watched.

The footage started with Din Djarin and Grogu successfully infiltrating a clandestine gathering of Imperial sympathizers at a frost-bitten world, sparking a high-stakes confrontation. The bounty hunter carved a lethal path through legions of Snowtroopers, utilizing a relentless combination of blaster fire, vibro-blades, and his signature flamethrower.

Their synergy proved pivotal when the Imperial leadership deployed a recon droid to track them, only for Grogu to intervene with the Force, triggering a mid-air explosion that neutralized the threat.

The duo’s escape turned into a chaotic descent down snow-covered cliffs as they commandeered a mini AT-ST to flee the facility. Dodging heavy laser fire and the crushing footsteps of massive AT-AT walkers, Din Djarin employed tactical brilliance to level the playing field. He used a well-placed explosive to trip one of the lumbering mechs, sending it plummeting down the mountainside, before jetpacking directly onto the hatch of another.

When the Imperial commander attempted a desperate retreat in an escape pod, Din Djarin overrode the hijacked walker’s weapon systems, sniping the craft out of the sky in a final act of aerial dominance.

Following the skirmish, the duo joined Zeb Orrelios (from Rebels) for the journey back to the New Republic base. Upon reporting to Colonel Ward (played by Sigourney Weaver), the group faced a stern reprimand for eliminating their target before any actionable intelligence could be extracted.

Despite the friction, they were immediately assigned a new objective: rescuing Rotta the Hutt from a rival criminal gang. Outfitted with a sleek, brand-new starship, the crew departed the hangar and went into hyperspace to begin their next mission.
