The Mandalorian Actor Elaborates on Punching Baby Yoda

The Mandalorian has finished its first season to critical acclaim, proving that a live-action Star Wars show can be done well. With most people liking this series, particularly for Baby Yoda, we're more than interested to see what The Mandalorian Season 2 has in store for us. Most of us are hoping that we get a name for Baby Yoda since no one wants to call him "The Child" and we'd rather punch puppets than keep using that marketing term.

Speaking of puppet punching, comedian Adam Pally has decided to open up about punching the Baby Yoda puppet that one time. When we first heard the story, it seemed like a humorous behind-the-scenes moment and nothing more but Pally went into detail on how awkward this encounter was during an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Here's his description of the super awkward incident:

"'That thing is very expensive, you don't want to do that. And I can't stress this enough, this is the movies.' I was like 'Got it, I got it.' And I went back and everyone was really awkward because I had potentially ruined a billion dollar franchise. So no one was saying anything, and before I got on my hoverbike, I said, 'I just want everyone to know Baby Yoda did say something anti-Semitic to me.' And I thought that would clear the air, but instead it had that vibe from when a mechanic is working on your care, and you're like, 'hey how long?' And they just stare at you."

We don't blame Pally for trying to lighten the mood but it's clear that everyone was worried about the puppet. It is pretty expensive, costing more than most pets and future celebrities should do their best to not punch this adorable little puppet. Seriously, don't do it guys.

The Mandalorian can now be streamed on Disney+ and should get a Blu-Ray release soon.
