The hit PlayStation video game brought to us by Naughty Dog, The Last of Us, is finally airing on HBO Max. The show adapts the post-apocalyptic game into a live-action series that stars Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie into nine episodes.
But unfortunately, HBO did not release all the episodes right away. Instead, there will be a weekly release every Sunday until all the episodes are done. If you'd like to watch this show, here's when more episodes will come out.
When Will More Episodes of The Last of Us Come Out?
New episodes of The Last of Us will be released every Sunday at 9pm ET. This is the same timeslot that House of the Dragon used when it came out in August 2022. For The Last of Us, the episodes will be available on these dates:

Is The Last of Us Scary?
The Last of Us show is considered more of a thriller than a horror show. But it does have a lot of intense moments.
One thing to note about the show is that the infected don't appear on the screen too often. Instead, the show focuses on how Joel and Ellie deal with the human survivors in this post-apocalyptic world.
Is The Last of Us Suitable for Kids to Watch?
Since The Last of Us is a zombie apocalypse action-drama, there are some scenes that are not suitable for minors.
The show has a lot of violence with the use of firearms and sharp weapons. And as a result, there are scenes that have bloody and gory details of humans, children included.
The Last of Us is not recommended for kids to watch.
Do I Need to Play the Game Before Watching The Last of Us?
Not really, but it will help.
The HBO Max show focuses on the events that took place in the first game, which was released in 2013. This means that the show likely tackles on the history of the outbreak and how Joel and Ellie meet.
