The Last Jedi: Mark Hamill Regrets Voicing Doubts in Public

Mark Hamill wasn't shy about letting people know how he felt about the changes made to Luke's character in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He felt that Luke wouldn't have given up that easily but he didn't let that get in the way with his performance, which was pretty stellar. Now that the film has received a polarizing reputation, Hamill actually regrets voicing his concerns publicly.

On Twitter, Hamill said that he regrets voicing his doubts and insecurities publicly. Hamill says he just wanted to make a good movie and even claimed that Rian Johnson made an all-time great one. Fans will likely be split on the opinions of Hamill but it's interesting to see the actor change his mind.

This actually isn't the first time he claimed to be wrong about The Last Jedi. Hamill previously admitted he was wrong about the film in an interview with IMDB. As many of us know, Hamill didn't initially agree with Johnson about Luke's character arc but concedes that being pushed out of your comfort zone is a good thing.

Will this stop fans from wanting Rotten Tomatoes destroyed? That's doubtful. It's clear that The Last Jedi will be a polarizing film for years to come.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now showing in theaters.
