KBS2’s The King’s Affection continuously dominates the evening time slot as it ranks on top among the Kdramas, airing every Monday and Tuesday.

The King’s Affection Episode 13 Recap
The King’s Affection Episode 13 sees Hwi revealing her secret to Ji Un. Shocked, Ji Un takes his time to process the truth as he does his best to tend to her wounded arm.
On the other hand, Lord Sangheon continues with his plan to put Hwi on the throne. He ordered a servant to poison the King’s herbal tea, which led to his immediate death. Because there is no one sitting on the throne, the coronation for the next line was put into haste.
Lord Sangheon orders his guards to look for Hwi and bring the Crown Prince back to the palace. After Hwi and Ji Un were strolling in the market, the latter left for a while. When he returns, he sees that Hwi is now nowhere to be found.
It turns out that Lord Sangheon’s guards found her, which immediately brought her back to the palace to redeem the throne. The King’s Affection Episode 13 also sees the Queen’s family imprisoned for a conspiracy that they have ordered the murder of the King.
As Prince Jahyeon was dethroned when his family was announced as traitors, Hwi automatically became the King.
