The Kingdoms of Ruin is an upcoming anime by Yokohama Animation Lab that’s best known for shows such as Lapis Re:LiGHTs and The Great Cleric.

While many anime fans might not have heard of the series before it was revealed earlier this year, it does have a sizeable fanbase in Japan as its manga source material has been serialized since 2019.

It is only now that more details have been shared, including the opening song Kieru Made (or Until It Disappears in English) by Hana Hope, the singer of the Fate/Grand Order Memorial Movie 2023's theme.

Meanwhile, the show’s ending theme was also revealed, and it is titled Prayer by the popular Japanese music group Who-ya Extended.

This group should be familiar to many anime fans as they performed the second opening of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1, as well as the opening theme of Psycho-Pass Season 3.

Unlike the opening song, the anime’s ED has yet to be previewed, though it will likely get released closer to the anime’s premiere.

Joining Ishikawa is Azumi Waki, who plays Doroka. Waki is another popular VA, with major roles such as Senko in The Helpful Fox Senko-san and Nagisa Minase in Girlfriend, Girlfriend.

The Kingdoms of Ruin will be released on October 6, 2023. It is confirmed to stream on Crunchyroll in the US and other selected regions.
