The Inhumans Movie Was Supposed to Come Out Today and Fans Remember

When Marvel announced their slate of 2018 and 2019 movies, The Inhumans was originally supposed to be a part of that. Due to some major changes made, it was soon turned into a poorly-received ABC series that almost nobody enjoyed and it never even got a second season. Say what you will about Luke Cage or Iron Fist but at least people miss those shows, which can't be said for Inhumans.

November 2, 2018, was supposed to be the film's release date before it was canceled and many feel that it would have been better than the series. That isn't saying much when you consider how bad the show was but when fans want the basic MCU formula over what the series offered, that's saying a lot.

Fans have decided to "reminisce" about the series in humorous ways, which is fairly amusing to see on social media. Most of us were pretty disappointed that the series ended up being as bad as it was and we can only imagine how much better a movie would have been. It's kind of sad how Agents of SHIELD ended up being using its Inhuman characters better than the show literally named for this fictional race.

Comic book readers know that The Inhumans have had a number of memorable comic books in the past and present, with many enjoying the 12-issue maxi-series from Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee, as well as the recent Black Bolt series from Saladin Ahmed and Christian Ward. Let's hope that these characters get another chance in the big or small screen.
