The Hunter Becomes The Hunted in First Venom TV Spot

The promotional material for the upcoming Venom movie has portrayed the anti-hero like a hunter playing with his prey. In the film's first TV spot, the symbiote-powered character is now the hunted, though he won't be easy to beat at all. We see a secret organization wanting their symbiote back from Eddie Brock but since we know comic book movies, expect a huge CGI fight near the end.

Most of the spot has reused footage from the previous trailers, though there is a bit of new in the short video. We get to see the organization run by Carlton Drake hunting Eddie a bit more and even a minor spoiler that has Brock captured. Plus, the second trailer has already shown us what the villain will look like so there isn't much that will surprise here.

Still, there's no denying how cool the movie looks, though it's too early to determine if that will be enough to make it a quality movie. With talks of making the film PG-13 for future crossovers with the MCU, it seems like Sony isn't ready to push the envelope when it comes to comic book violence, even though Venom is the perfect character to do that with.

Honestly, Venom could be really good or really bad. It has a talented cast and decent enough CGI, at least from what we've seen in the trailer. The film comes out on October 5.
