The Golden Spoon Episode 7 sees Seungcheon getting involved in numerous threats he did not expect after choosing to use the gold spoon again to exchange lives with Taeyong. Seungcheon visits the funeral hall and tries to approach Juhee without realizing that he has already exchanged lives. The pain of seeing the person you love acknowledge a different you surrounded Seungcheon, but he had no choice but to give up on her so that he could proceed with his plans.
On the other hand, the family he left behind received a helping hand to at least ease their suffering after being kicked out of the mansion. Seungcheon threatens Yeojin and digs up the illegal involvement of her father’s business. He also tried to dig up the illegal sources of funds of his stepmother and uncle.

Jung Chaeyeon Believes Her Father Was Murdered In The Golden Spoon Episode 7
Juhee thought people would still visit her father’s funeral even though their family is buried in debt. She sees Hwang Hyundo and announces her speculation that her father was murdered and that he did not commit suicide. Hwang Hyundo thinks otherwise and lets her understand that her father had left them only with debt to pay.
Furthermore, Juhee had a conflict with her older brothers over the distribution of inheritance and property. She escaped the unfairness thanks to Taeyong (who is in Seungcheon’s life). Taeyong and Juhee then shared a brief romantic moment when the former kissed her on the lips. Juhee continues her relationship with him, not knowing that he is no longer the Lee Seungcheon she loved.

Yook Sungjae Gets Caught In An Unexpected Situation In The Golden Spoon Episode 7
After implying superiority towards Yeojin’s father, Seungcheon tried to help his parents. He tells Yeojin's father that if he doesn't keep quiet about the kidnapping that Taeyong tried to do, he will keep leaking dirt about his company.
Meanwhile, Juntae tracks down Seungcheon’s whereabouts and discovers that he came in drunk on the night of Juhee’s father’s death. But all the evidence was hidden, including the CCTV footage of the night, which raised questions and suspicions that he might have had something to do with the accident.
Seungcheon gets arrested by the police on suspicion of murder, while Taeyong arrives at Juhee’s house with a skeptical smile.
