Lim Ji Yeon is now getting everyone’s attention for her superb acting as one of the bullies of Song Hye Kyo’s character in The Glory. In a post on Instagram on Monday, January 16, the actress reveals her and her hit Netflix series’ co-stars’ real side.

Lim Ji Yeon gives everyone a glimpse of her close bond with her The Glory co-stars in a series of snaps. In the caption, he stressed that they’re “nice kids” in real life.

"We're actually really nice kids,” the actress captioned her post.

In one photo, she could be seen bonding with Kim Hieora and Chaa Joo Young, who play the roles of Lee Sa Ra and Choi Hye Jeong.

In another snap, Kim Gun Woo, who portrays Son Myeong Oh, has a solo picture as he seems to have fun with the balloons in his hand.

Of course, fans react to the post, with one saying they’re already scared just seeing them together, per AllKpop.

"Where is Jae Joon?" a fan asked.

"I don't think you guys are going to be nice. I'm totally immersed in the drama," one commented.

Lim Ji Yeon Receives Praise for Her The Glory Role

Aside from Song Hye Kyo, Lim Ji Yeon also receives praise for her role as Park Yeon Jin in The Glory.

The actress is often known for her female protagonist roles, making this one new to the viewers’ eyes. When she was announced to play the villain’s role, many were skeptical about how she would portray the role.

In an interview, writer Kim Eun Sook revealed why she chose Lim Ji Yeon as the show’s main antagonist.

"I decided to take the first risk of casting her as the antagonist, although there were concerns she might mess up because this was her first time playing the villain,” she explained, via AllKpop.

As soon as the series dropped on November 30, many quickly noticed Lim Ji Yeon’s incredible acting.

"She is just Park Yeon Jin character herself. She acted so crazy well that I would get scared of her. Also, I can't remember her previous works before this because she played this role so well," a netizen stated.

"She did act well. I think all the cast members acted well in 'The Glory,' even the villains," another said.

"But I think it is easier to play the villain than those reserved characters because you have to express their subtle emotional changes for those characters, but for villains, you can have your emotions explode," a different fan added.

"I was really surprised when I watched this drama because I always thought Lim Ji Yeon sucked at acting, but she was so natural this time,” a user added.

The Glory tells the story of a bullied child Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo), who exacts her revenge when she becomes an adult. The show’s second half will be out in March.
