The Full List of 2018 Oscar Nominations Unveiled & The Shape of Water Got 12 of Them

The nominations for this year's Academy Awards have been announced, and Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water leads the pack with thirteen of the nominations. They include Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Supporting Actor, Best Original Screenplay, and more.

Christopher Nolan's war film Dunkirk got 8 nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director. Jordan Peele's Get Out (one of my favorite films in 2017) received a few nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. I actually enjoyed Get Out more than Dunkirk and The Shape of Water so I hope that wins it all.

James Franco's The Disaster Artist was snubbed because of sexual misconduct allegations surrounding the actor.
