It was serialized online on Shosetsuka ni Naro, a user-generated novel publishing website. Futabasha acquired a license over the light novel and published thirteen volumes under Monster Bunko imprint.
The success of the light novel paved way for the manga to be made. It was serialized on Web Comic Action and can be collected in seven tankobon volumes. Eventually, an anime adaptation was made by Hotline, and the series made its premiere in October 2021.
