The Flash's Will Reportedly Reboot the DCEU While Remembering Everything That Came Before it


The actual plot of The Flash has been intriguing for many fans. Warner Brothers revealed at the 2017's San Diego Comic-Con International that the movie's title and the logo were Flashpoint. This may be the main direction that the film might focus on, although there might be some differences.

During the DC FanDome event, producer Barbara Muschietti teased that The Flash movie will restart the DCEU while remembering everything that came before the film. She even hinted that the film may include some DC characters.

Recent updates on The Flash mostly came from the social media of the movie director. The director also revealed a little bit of a teaser for Ezra Miller's upgraded Flash costume. Calle also shared a fan art with a shorter haircut which is the same look she has in The Flash.

The most recent update has DCEU fans have their first look at the costume of Sasha Calle as Supergirl. She will be wearing the costume in The Flash feature film. The image was shared on Instagram by The Flash director Andy Muschietti Instagram. The image shows a very zoomed-in photo of the House of El emblem, which previews some fine details that were found on the super suit.

The newly shared image of Supergirl contains a chainmail throughout. The middle of the House of El emblem features an intricate pattern of the Kryptonian symbols. The lower half of the costume is made up of blue and the top half has red colors. There is a blue line diagonally on each of the shoulder areas.

The Flash is set to arrive in theaters on November 4, 2022.
