One of the best things that happened during the Arrowverse crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths is undoubtedly the surprise appearance of Ezra Miller's Barry Allen in The Flash. But is there any chance that The CW's Scarlet Speedster could also show up in the upcoming The Flash movie? Showrunner Eric Wallace has just teased that it's possible to see the two versions of The Flash together again.
Wallace recently spoke to Discussing Film where he was asked if fans could expect to see the two Flashes together again on the big screen. Interestingly, the showrunner seemed optimistic about the possibility.
"I would love to see Grant appear somewhere in their version of the film. Say I said, 'You know what? I'll give you a couple of weeks off easy now.' I don't know if they'll do that, but I'm putting it out there. Because I know Grant would be excited. I think he would have some fun," Wallace said. He also pointed out that they are eager to have Miller back on The Flash series.
"I also told Ezra, with open arms, we would welcome him back. I would love to have him back for longer, for a full episode of The Flash, if we can somehow make it happen," Wallace added. After talking about busy schedules, he then stated that they could make things happen.
"I don't know how possible it is, but I do know it's not impossible because we proved it in Crisis when we saw the two Flashes together. So I'm going to be hopeful and I'm going to put that energy out there," Wallace said.
He does have a point considering that The Flash is already set to have two different Batmans who will be played by Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck. Will DCEU's Barry get to see Arrowverse's Barry again in the movie? Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
The Flash movie is scheduled for release on June 3, 2022.
