There is little doubt that fans are hyped up for The Flash now that more stars have been confirmed to join the DC Extended Universe flick. One character that everyone is looking forward to would be Sasha Calle's version of Supergirl. Interestingly, the Young and the Restless star has just shared the first glimpse at the Girl of Steel's comic-accurate look.

Back in February, director Andy Muschietti confirmed that Calle has been cast as Supergirl in The Flash. Since then, there have been many other updates on the film but Calle has been relatively quiet. Amazingly, the actress has just shared a photo to show off her new look for The Flash movie. Check it out below.

We're loving the short black hair especially since it looks a lot like Cir-El from the comic books. The character, who was created by Steve Seagle and Scott McDaniel, is a powerful girl who claims to be Superman's daughter. Although her origins have changed in the comics, Cir-El is currently confirmed to be a human/Kryptonite hybrid who has the same powers as Superman.

The idea of Calle playing the live-action version of Cir-El is a welcome one but there is also a possibility that the actress had cut her hair for other reasons. Some believe that Calle needed shorter hair so she could wear a wig for The Flash.

The Flash will star Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdú, and Ron Livingston. The film is currently in production and is scheduled for release on November 4, 2022.
