In case you missed it, The Flash has been delayed for the 500th time (an exaggeration, but not far from the truth). This means that fans will have to wait until 2023 to see the highly anticipated DC Extended Universe flick. However, the delay also comes with some happy news. It looks like The Flash, which stars Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne, will hit theaters as 1989's Batman celebrates its 34th anniversary!

It has been confirmed that The Flash is once again being delayed to a later release date. Although the film has already been scheduled to hit theaters on November 4, 2022, it is now set to premiere on June 23, 2023. It's a major delay that has left fans wondering if the movie will ever get released.

On the other hand, Batman fans are content with the news. After all, Tim Burton's movie, which introduced Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader, was released on June 23, 1989. If The Flash will keep its current release date, it would mean that fans will get to see Keaton's return as Batman on the 34th anniversary of the film's release!

It's an awesome coincidence and one that would make the date an unforgettable one. Needless to say, we're hoping that The Flash gets to keep its current release date without any more delays.

Michael Keaton has been confirmed to reprise his role as Batman in The Flash and is also expected to show up in the HBO Max film Batgirl. He is also set to return as Adrian Toomes aka Vulture in Morbius, the Sony Marvel film starring Jared Leto as the Living Vampire.

The Flash is not the only major DC film that will be delayed this year. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is being pushed back to March 17, 2023. Shazam! Fury of the Gods will then get an earlier release date, taking Aquaman 2's release date on December 16, 2022.
