Will The Faraway Paladin Season 2 Be Dubbed in English?
Crunchyroll, which streams the show in the US, confirmed early on that The Faraway Paladin Season 2, also known as The Lord of Rust Mountains, is getting dubbed in English.
In late September 2023, the popular anime streaming service announced its Fall 2023 anime lineup. The English dub lineup was also soon revealed.
Since its first season did well enough to get a dub, it was only a matter of time for The Faraway Paladin's second season to get an English dub confirmation.
The Faraway Paladin Season 2 Confirms English Dub Release
The Faraway Paladin Season 2's English dub is already out! Crunchyroll released the first episode of the English version on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
As such, new episodes of the English dub are expected to come out every Saturday in the US and other selected regions.
The English dub for The Faraway Paladin Season 2 premiered two weeks after the original Japanese version, so the English version is behind by two episodes.
It has been the norm for several popular or semi-popular titles' dubs to start airing two weeks after the original version's premiere.
Simuldubs, wherein the English episode comes out on the same day as the Japanese one, are most likely reserved for very popular titles.
Since The Faraway Paladin isn't as big as other titles of the season, fans had anticipated its dub to come out two weeks after its Japanese release.

Crunchyroll has also announced the English dub cast for The Faraway Paladin Season 2, and they include:
- Chris Hackney (Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald in Bungou Stray Dogs) as Will
- Cristina Valenzuela (Mio Akiyama in K-ON!) as Bee
- Griffin Puatu (Naoto Tachibana in Tokyo Revengers) as Menel
- Mick Lauer (Shiu Kong in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2) as Hiram
Meanwhile, Kirstie Simone (Burn the Witch) is directing the dub, with Jamie Simone (Rent-A-Girlfriend) handling production duties.
Seth Walther (Naruto) is writing the scripts, and Calvin Pfeffer (Tiger & Bunny Season 2) is in charge of mixing and audio engineering.
