The Fantastic Four Might Arrive In The MCU Before The X-Men

Marvel might not have any plans of touching Disney's recently acquired Fox properties anytime soon, but word has it that the Fantastic Four are more likely to make their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe earlier than the X-Men.

While this might come as a surprise considering the cinematic flop that was Josh Tranks' 2015 Fantastic Four movie starring Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Miles Teller, and Jame Bell, ComicBook.com suggests that Marvel might actually bring in the Fantastic Four earlier than the X-Men.

Sure, the Fantastic Four franchise has been rebooted multiple times, however, it's much easier to work on rebooted film series than to work on franchises with existing projects.

Fox still has to present X-Men: Dark Phoenix, a movie starring Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner. The film is still set for release in June, and after that comes New Mutants, a film starring Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams. While many don't really expect New Mutants to make it to cinemas, an early investors call for Disney's shareholders revealed that Walt Disney was still expecting the film to release on its supposed date.

Seeing how the Mickey Mouse House is set on completing all of X-Men's current film projects before proceeding to work on a way to bring the mutants into the MCU means that it'll take sometime for the X-Men to make its way to Marvel.

How about you? Would you want to see the Fantastic Four in the MCU before the X-Men? Or the other way around?

Marvel's latest film, Avengers: Endgame, premieres April 26, 2019.
