The Family Plan turns Mark Wahlberg into a family man with an action-packed past. While his past is back to haunt him, he doesn't let it get in the way of more important matters. This is why The Family Plan diaper changing scene is noteworthy since it gives us a look at Wahlberg as a new dad.
But let's talk about that fun scene and why it's gaining attention from its fans.
What Happened in The Family Plan Diaper Changing Scene?
The Family Plan follows Mark Wahlberg, who lives as Dan Morgan, a family man and a car salesman. His wife and three kids don't know that he was actually a former assassin. So when his identity gets discovered, he must do what he can to protect his family.
There are a lot of notable action sequences in The Family Plan, especially the scene where Dan fights off some bad guys with a baby in tow (pretty crafty yet highly disturbing in real life).
Of course, they had to throw in some bit of reality in the film, which comes in the form of a new dad changing his 10-month-old son's diaper.

Did Mark Wahlberg Really Change the Baby's Diaper in The Family Plan?
Wahlberg doesn't really do a lot of comedy movies, especially since he's known for his action flicks like The Italian Job, Deepwater Horizon, Shooter, and the Transformers movies. So when the trailer for The Family Plan showed the actor in a pretty funny scene, it was a welcomed change.
They did a scene where they kill a guy with a dirty diaper, to which the actor responds that he "had forgotten about that!"
Meanwhile, his on-screen wife, Jessica (played by Michelle Monaghan) further shares:
"That was a fun scene. I think the beauty of this movie is that there’s so many funny and inventive action sequences where we use the aspects of family and raising a family, and it makes it kind of goofy and relatable. But yeah, it was a very poopy diaper!"
But did Wahlberg really change the diaper of the baby in The Family Plan, the actor answers: "I mean, obviously they sped it up a little, but I’ve changed many a diaper in my day!"
Of course, this is in reference to Wahlberg's previous interview with People:
"I’ve changed some diapers and done some baths! We tuck in and we read, but Mommy is doing more of the diaper duty and the bathing, that’s for sure. Let’s not try to take any credit away from how great a job Mommy is doing, but yes, I have done both."
