Set post-Avengers: Endgame, plot details about The Falcon and The Winter Soldier are still mostly kept under wraps. It is speculated that the show will explore Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson as he takes on Captain America's mantle. On the other hand, there's little to no details about what's in store for Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes. That said, it seems like the end is not in sight for the latter and his story may potentially continue outside the series.

In a recent appearance on The Screen Forum podcast, Jon Nania, who serves as Stan's stunt double for Bucky, revealed that he's yet to shoot his last scenes as the Winter Soldier. "I've still got a lot of performing left in me, and there's still a lot of things I want to do," he said. "I don't think the Winter Soldier is quite over within the Marvel universe, there's still a lot more to ride out on that one, and I look forward to being part of it."

Having worked on the series, Nania is likely to have an idea of what's next for Stan's character. Based on his comments, there may be more of Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Should Bucky become a key player in the MCU after the show, this comes to no surprise since the character has an intriguing backstory and is certainly popular among the fans.

Here's hoping that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier can wrap production soon enough so fans could finally see the duo's adventures.
