The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Star Sebastian Stan Supports Sam and Bucky Fan Ships

There is little doubt that all fandoms have certain "ships" where fans imagine a romantic relationship between two characters. Not surprisingly, some fans have been shipping Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes long before the two characters worked together in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. What's interesting is, Sebastian Stan actually supports the SamBucky ship.

Let's face it, Sam and Bucky didn't start out as best friends right away. The two had a certain dislike for each other when they first met in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. However, Sam and Bucky needed to work together because they had the same best friend in Steve Rogers.

Naturally, some fans are loving the bond between Sam and Bucky, thus leading to the ship known as SamBucky. But what does Stan think about the ship? The Avengers: Endgame star told Variety that he doesn't mind and that he actually supports it.

"I'm just happy that the relationship is embraced, and it should be embraced in whatever way or fashion that people desire and want it to be," Stan said.

That's an awesome response considering that ships aren't exactly something that most stars would welcome. Needless to say, it's great to know that Stan welcomes everybody's interpretation of the relationship between Sam and Bucky.

We already know that Sam will be back in Captain America 4. However, it has not yet been announced whether Bucky will be joining him in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
