There are a handful of projects that Marvel fans would be looking out for this year. Aside from the movies Black Widow and Eternals, fans have been patiently waiting for the release dates of the highly-anticipated Disney+ series, and now, it looks like the wait will soon be over.

At Walt Disney's recent Q1 FY20 Earnings call, CEO Bob Iger talked about the "enormously successful" launch of the streaming service, which has over 28.6 million subscribers to date. Iger also revealed the release date for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which is actually in August of this year.

While there wasn't an exact date specified for the show's release, Marvel fans would be happy to know that they'd be seeing Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan return as the beloved heroes in the show very soon.

Fans already got their first look at The Falcon and the Winter Soldier during the Sunday night Super Bowl. Although the teaser is only 30-seconds long, there's certainly a lot to take in, including Falcon's upgraded suit.

The series is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame where Bucky and Sam will team up "to test their abilities" as well as their "patience." Aside from Mackie and Stan, the show also stars Daniel Bruhl as Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.
