The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Has 'Very Little' Left to Shoot According to Anthony Mackie

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is one of the most anticipated shows coming to the Disney+ streaming service, continuing some of the plot threads left from Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Endgame. While most of us expected to see the series by the end of the year, many felt that it was going to be delayed due to COVID-19 making everything harder for everyone.

During an appearance in The Tonight Show With Jimmy Kimmel, Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon, confirmed that the show is not canceled and that there isn't a ton left to shoot. The actor does state that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is still on hold so it won't be shooting again anytime soon but at least they won't have too much to do once things are back to normal.

"I'm happy to say we are not cancelled. We are on hold. We're going back hopefully sometime soon and finish it up, we have very little stuff to do. I'm very happy with it. We have a little more to go back to do. But everybody rest assured, it will come out."

While it's not yet known if the show will be able to make its 2020 release date, there's a pretty good chance that will be the case since WandaVision has supposedly resumed shooting. As long as no one is forced to got to work and everyone does what they want on their own, we can stomach these actors shooting again.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be coming to Disney+ later this year, supposedly.
