It looks like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier just found two new key players in the highly anticipated Marvel series. The Disney+ show has just confirmed Desmond Chiam and Miki Ishikawa will be joining the cast.
According to Deadline, Chiam and Ishikawa have been added to the show's already awesome cast. However, their roles have not yet been revealed.
Chiam has previously appeared in Reef Break and Now Apocalypse while Ishikawa's breakout role was in The Terror: Infamy. We're not sure who these actors will be playing in the series but we're open to speculations.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will bring back Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes and Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson. They will be joined by Daniel Bruhl, who played Baron Zemo in Captain America: Civil War. Emily VanCamp is also set to reprise her role as Sharon Carter/Agent 13 in the show. Wyatt Russell was previously confirmed as the only new cast member.
The premise of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is still a mystery but the series will take place after the events in Avengers: Endgame where Steve Rogers passed his Captain America shield to Sam. There is a possibility that the unlikely pair will be dealing with the return of Baron Zemo and could be needing the help of Sharon and Russell's US Agent.
Marvel Studios has yet to confirm an official premiere date for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Nevertheless, the series is expected to air on Disney+ by late 2020.
