The Eternals: Kevin Feige Addresses Thanos' Possible Return in MCU Film

We still don't know much about The Eternals but what are the chances that an important Eternal will be joining the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick? Kevin Feige has just addressed the possibility that Thanos could return to the MCU.

Feige was recently in attendance at the 2019 Comic Con Experience where he discussed MCU's future projects (via Omelete). When asked if Thanos will show up in The Eternals, the Marvel Studios president quickly pointed out that it shouldn't be impossible considering that these are the Mad Titan's people.

"Thanos in the comics was an Eternal on Titan, there may be connections," Feige said. However, he added that there are other more important things to focus on in the Chloe Zhao movie.

"But really, this is about new ten characters that are played by an incredible group of actors that we're focusing on," Feige concluded.

Unfortunately, Josh Brolin fans shouldn't expect Thanos to be back anytime soon. However, The Eternals is already set to introduce new villains that could be just as powerful as the Mad Titan.

"Deviants are in the film," Feige confirmed. "We'll see Deviants that will look unlike any Deviants you've seen in the comics. This is a new form of Deviants we're revealing in the movie."

That certainly sounds exciting and we can't wait to see The Eternals soon.

The Eternals will star Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, Barry Keoghan, Gemma Chan and Kit Harington. The film is scheduled for release on November 6, 2020.
