The Eternals Fan Art Imagines Kit Harington As MCU's Black Knight

In case you missed it, Kit Harington has officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Dane Whitman in the upcoming film The Eternals. Unfortunately, the casting news was made too close to D23 Expo 2019 that his character's concept art was not unveiled at the event. Luckily, a new fan art reveals what Harington could look like as the Black Knight.

The fan art was created by digital artist Bosslogic to celebrate Harington's casting. Make sure to swipe through to see Black Knight unmasked.

It's certainly awesome to see what Harington could look like in The Eternals and the black armor is definitely a treat for Game of Thrones fans. In the series, Harington's character Jon Snow was revealed to be the son of the Targaryen prince who also wore a black and red armor. In addition to that, Jon was theorized to wield the flaming sword known as Lightbringer.

Harington's casting in The Eternals is truly a welcome one since it would mean that he would be reunited with Game of Thrones co-star Richard Madden. In the show, the two played half-brothers who had to part ways and were never able to reunite (Robb Stark was killed in the third season). Interestingly, Robb remarked that Jon would be "all in black" when they meet again and that's bound to happen in the MCU film.

The Eternals also added Captain Marvel actress Gemma Chan as Sersi and Dunkirk star Barry Keoghan as Druig. The movie is scheduled for release on November 6, 2020.
