The Elder Scrolls 6 News Will Come After the Release of Starfield

While everyone is rightfully ragging on Bethesda these days due to how they handled Fallout 76 and decided to give this game a $100 subscription service, fans are still looking forward to the company's upcoming titles, particularly The Elder Scrolls 6. Skyrim, despite being re-released on every gaming system ever, is still seen by many as the gold standard of Bethesda games so it's easy to see why fans want a sequel so badly.

However, fans will be a bit sad to hear that Bethesda's biggest priority right now is Starfield and they probably won't hear any news about The Elder Scrolls 6 until after the new IP hits gaming systems. Considering how Starfield doesn't even have a release date yet, lord knows when we'll even get news on the next title of their flagship series.

Then again, this could be trolling from Bethesda Senior Vice President Pete Hines. We honestly wouldn't put it past him or any big people on Twitter since the goal is to make everyone happy with their product. Surprising fans can also enhance the experience, though what is important is that the game is good.

So yeah, don't expect news for The Elder Scrolls 6 anytime soon. We would be surprised if this ends up being a late/mid-next-gen game, to be honest. At the least, gamers have Skyrim, which is available on PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. There's also The Elder Scrolls: Blades on mobile devices, which should be coming to the Switch sooner or later.
