The Dark Knight Rises Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt Doesn't Regret Attending Star Wars Premiere as Yoda

The Dark Knight Rises star Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a bonafide Star Wars junkie through and through and he's proven that quite a few times. Remember when he came out to defend The Last Jedi from its critics? Undoubtedly though, his greatest act which came out of sheer fandom for the franchise came in 2015 when Joe attended the red carpet premiere of The Force Awakens in his DIY Yoda costume. As iconic as that moment was, we all pretty much forgot about it as years went by but one fan on Twitter tried to remind the Project Power actor of his "questionable" fashion choices five years ago.

It all began when Twitter user @laurasdern shared photos of the actor wearing his now-iconic Yoda costume from the 2015 premiere which also features a Grinch pajama. Gordon-Levitt, a true sport, retweeted the post and boldly told his followers that he has zero regrets for choosing to come out to the premiere as the iconic Jedi Master. Check out his response here:

Now, with his strong allegiance to the Force, one would think that would've easily landed him a role in the billion-dollar franchise but up to this point, Joseph has yet to make his way to the Star Wars universe. A complete shame, really as he's an underrated actor who could bring something to the table. I mean, it still isn't too late for Lucasfilm and Disney to reconsider, right? I'd personally be down to see him in the franchise at some point.
