The Creator is projected to be the next big movie that could potentially turn itself into a franchise as big as other sci-fi films. Now that the movie has been released in theaters, most fans are asking when The Creator Blu-ray release date will be.
And this isn't as surprising as we'd think. Most people still prefer to watch newly released films in the comfort of their own homes. Although The Creator is best experienced via IMAX, some are waiting for the film to come out on Blu-ray.
Here's what we know about the film's current release dates.
Has The Creator Been Released Already?
The Creator was released in theaters on September 29, 2023. The film was rated PG13 when it came out. This means that there are some parts of the film that aren't suitable for children.
As of this writing, The Creator received a Metascore of 63. On IMDb, the film also earned 7.3/10 stars.

When is The Creator Coming to Blu-ray?
Since the film just came out, the film won't be available on Blu-ray or DVD right away. It will usually take around 12 to 16 weeks before the film gets released on these two formats.
But it's also worth noting that some films never get a Blu-ray or DVD release. This is particularly true if the movie was exclusively designed for a theatrical release or on a streaming platform.
If The Creator has plans to get released on Blu-ray or DVD, the estimated release date might be on December 25, 2023.

Estimated The Creator Digital Release Date
When it comes to a digital release, The Creator could be available on Amazon Video or iTunes at least one to two weeks before its Blu-ray/DVD release date. If the December 25, 2023 release date is accurate, then The Creator could be available VOD (video-on-demand) in the early weeks of December.
When is The Creator Coming to Netflix?
Nowadays, it's quite standard for new films to be available on streaming platforms right away. For a film as big as The Creator, it's surely bound to make its way to a popular streaming platform after its theatrical run.
Unfortunately, we can't expect the film to be available on Netflix right away. This is because The Creator is distributed by 20th Century Studios, which Disney now owns.
Because of this, it's likely that the film will be streaming on Disney+ or Hulu. There are reports that these two streaming services will merge in the future, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
As of this writing, however, there is no announcement yet on when The Creator will be released on Disney+. It is estimated that Disney movies become available on the streaming service at least 45 days after its theatrical run.
With this in mind, it's possible that The Creator could be available on Disney+ by December 13 or 20.
Again, this is not an official Disney+ release date. We'll have to wait for an official announcement from Disney.
