The teaser trailer that was released last December revealed that there is a major political storyline that is set to take place in the upcoming fourth season of The Boys.

Victoria Neuman is seen running in the presidential election and she is seemingly going to be at odds with Homelander, who has a huge fanbase of his own.

The new season's release timing is interesting since it will be available on Prime Video during the summer leading up to the US presidential election this fall.

In case you're not up to date, the Republican National Convention will take place this July while the Democratic National Convention is scheduled on the following month in August.

The first presidential debate is set to take place on September 16. As for the presidential election itself, it is scheduled to happen on Tuesday, November 5.
